"On Fire": (VIDEO) WAIT. FOR. IT.
"All around us we observe a pregnant creation. The difficult times of pain throughout the world are simply birth pangs. But it’s not only around us; it’s within us. The Spirit of God is arousing us within. We’re also feeling the birth pangs. These sterile and barren bodies of ours are yearning for full deliverance. That is why waiting does not diminish us, any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don’t see what is enlarging us. But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy.
Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good."---Romans 8:22-28(Message)
I was trying to find one of my favorite songs to play for a friend of mine but I was having quite a time finding the original to play on my mobile phone. This morning, I found it...used for a family video and I realized it was no accident (Proverbs 16:33-AMP).
Here's what the videographer had to say about the Roane Family:
The Roanes are one of my favorite families ever. They flew in from Oregon to Salt Lake last year and I took their photos. They hired me this year to shoot a video as well and I was thrilled. I love being around this family. They exude love like none other; it's tangible.
I wanted to capture the feeling of peace, safety, and love you feel around them; the connection they have as a family. They make me want to be a better husband and father.
Malachi 2:15(NCV) says "God made husbands and wives to become one body and one spirit for his purpose—so they would have children who are true to God." They say that marriage is a ministry...*and it is*. During the waiting process, don't just wait for "a husband" or "a marriage". Wait as God puts the finishing touches on making someone who you can truly be of one body and one spirit with. *And* so that when people see you and your beloved together, they are truly inspired---by his handwork.
